Dual (non-Thai) Passports

Just wondering if any BM's have 2 non-Thai passports and if so does it make staying in Thailand easier? Each time you do a visa run, can you alternate passports to stay longer?

No, only one passport will have your Thai visa/entry permit , the one you entered on and it is that one that you will need to leave the country.

I have two passports, had a letter from the company stating I needed another passport since I still needed to travel while I had to leave my passport to get visas entered for Oz and Indonesia. When the Thais where going on about the 90 days in any 180day period used passports alternately.

 

You can do that but why. I went and got a 90 day, multi-entry type 'O' visa. can you not do the same??

Yeah - can do that but just considering alternatives.

I suspect you are thinking that the 90 days in 180 is still in force. It is no longer in use. You can do as many back to back border runs as you like. The only thing is that if you go to a land crossing they will only give you 15 days if you do not have a visa. There is no advantage to having 2 passports.

 

As td5855 points out your best option for staying long term is a non-imm type-O visa.
