Anchan Boutique Hotel. A gem in Hua Hin

I’ve just spent 5 more days this trip in Hua Hin and booked a new hotel to us that looked ok on line.  Well it’s better in real life.

Great location in the centre of the Bintabaht area.  The lobby area is open so quite warm and it’s also open to a small bar and the pool area.

To the left as you enter is the reception in an AC area.  The reception is open 24/7 so no funny little doors to navigate in the wee hours like some places

The hotel has no lift and 4 floors including the ground.  Rooms start on 2.  Stairs are steep but not stupid steep.  The hotel is adjacent to bars so pick a pool view side to avoid noise.  Balconies on the upper floors.  Across the road is another building that has some suites… up to you

we stayed on the 4th floor pool side.  After 5 days we were jogging up the stairs.  555

Rooms are good. Modern and clean.  Beds are firm but not hard. We asked for softer pillows and they immediately appeared.  Very impressed with the service and all staff.  The lads are reception were great and good for a chat 

Bathroom was fine although hot pressure was poor.  Didn’t really need it anyway.  

The door was a key and you have to manually lock it so beware.  We unhooked the key to leave the tag in the power slot for the AC

Pool was cool and refreshing. 5 feet deep. 

At 1300bt a night we’ll use it for some of our stay at least next time.

I keep meaning to get over to Hua Hin on each trip I make to LoS, but I always get sidetracked.

This little place looks really nice. Might try and get over for a visit in a couple of weeks when I head over to LoS again.

It was a very comfortable stay for Mrs Keepitfun and I.  Simple good value.  Beer bars and pool tables 20 m from the door.

I was there in Anchan - Hua Hin in March 2020, was enjoying a (clean) massage from the wonderful ladies of Anchan when the police came inside to notify the closure of all public activities... they allowed us to finish, then everything closed..

damn pandemic...

I remember the room was clean and comfortable, the staff was very friendly and the massage ladies were just great, would have married 2 of them at least 😉

who knows where they are now...
