Taxi services similar to Nams but to other destinations

I always use Nam's to get between Suvarnabhumi and Pattaya. On my next trip I want to go from Pattaya to Samut Sakhon province for a few days and back to Pattaya. The bus connections I can find between Pattaya and Samut Sakhon take about 4-5 hours, whereas driving takes under 2 hours. Since all my trips are short, time is precious.

Are there any taxi services similar to Nams taxi where I could book a private car and driver to take me from Pattaya to somewhere in Samut Sakhon, then from Samut Sakhon back to Pattaya two days later?

Or would I be better booking via Bolt? Just prefer to have these things booked and confirmed in advance.

Thanks!

In fact, it's safe to ask Nam's taxi - after all, they provide a service for transporting people not just from/to swampy airport.

Good point, worth asking. Thanks.

Checked Bolt, looks like its doable in theory, but worried about not being able to find a driver at short notice when I actually want to go.

I'm guessing you can pre-book taxis using bolt for the next day? At least you can do that on the equivalent app where I live.

I'll send Nam a quick email.

Just thought I'd mention in case anyone is interested, I emailed Nams taxi service and asked about taxis between Pattaya and Samut Sakhon. They said they can do it, 2200 baht one way in a Camry type Sedan.

Sounds reasonable and with Nams you know you get a decent lady driver.
I’d try Bolt as well at the same of day you want to travel to compare costs and availability. I’m sure you’d get some takers on there as well. Possibly soo eons from the area who fancied a couple of days at home and you could negotiate a round trip.

These are my go to guys: https://thaihappytaxi.com/

I have been using them for years too. Totally fine most of the time. Had one bad driver with them who was looking at his phone the whole journey tho.

Complained about him and they apologized

Yeah I've been using them for probably 6+ years, maybe only one bad (but not terrible) experience. After covid they sometimes struggle with having enough drivers so they might outsource to another taxi firm if its tight. Its usually these times you can get a bad seed because they might not be vetted as well as their regular drivers. They have been extremely flexible when I've had IRROPS like canceled or very delayed flights. Was 8 hours delayed once to BKK when my flight got cancelled 10 mins before boarding and I had to take the next one and it was no problem. Driver was waiting when I landed, no extra charge.
