Classic local news story.  I'm following it with interest !

Youngish Kiwis behaving badly.  And they have rich parents.   Guns, assaulting elderly thai police officers, bribery.  This story has all the elements of a great news story.  Well done TPN inc.

Parent's view is their offspring were 'just kids on vacation'.   555.  They are such nice kids !.....

2 bothers, millionaire parents facing robbery, bribery and assaulting a police officer charges amongst other things. 

I think we can work out the outcome with reasonable confidence as one attribute sticks out clearly.

Just saw the video. One of the brothers went berserk and literally attacked the officer, wrestled with him on ground and took the officer’s gun and a shot was discharged accidentally. Hence the robbery charge.
