The foreigner has not presented himself in to the police as of press time to give his side of the story

The tourist involved has not filed charges or spoken to police.

And most likely won't because other questions will be asked, that might incriminate him, (international driver's license, overstay, TM30, etc...) and a couple thousand baht fine might bankrupt him

my opinion: these guys were idiots, this didn't have to happen, your not in a culture where you can just spout off the mouth at people (which probably led to this incident) Thai taxi guy - " you no park here " foreigner - " fuck off " 

If a fight starts, don't, just don't, the second you take a swing your fucked, it's like a swarm of bees will be on you, am I saying for you to just take a beat down ? no, put up you dukes, be defensive, in a couple seconds, believe it or not other Thai's will come to your rescue, but if you took a couple swings they'll just enjoy the show

The second motorbike taxi guy clearly fancies himself as a kickboxer, but after seeing his kicking style I'll wager he'll get more interest from the Pattaya Ballet Society.
