Take note of Dec 8, 2013... Little India, in Singapore...  Singapore clamped down HARD on the Indians after they rioted and overwhelmed the Singapore government...   It wouldn't take much for the same to happen here...

holy shit good thing i'm not a morning person.  was in the Beach Road area from about noon to 2, blissfully unaware of what had happened, peacefully enjoying a cup of coffee at one of the two excellent coffee roasters on Beach Road.

Damn. Good thing I was not in the country. I was there a month before this happened. Another close miss.

Nothing new / very common

Be warned

Unless you were planning on jumping in with an iron bar, you would have been fine. There’s plenty of bystanders in the video who just walk or bike past.

I liked the plucky Thai grandma who went right at the guy who was swinging his big pole - she must have had some practice with guys swinging their poles - seemed to be getting the better of him ha  ha 🙂

Baba is fight ?

Less than 5 minutes from Soi 9. Why no response.

Hopefully, Indians don’t make the place any better

Fighting with local Thais rarely ends well. Even if you are “in the right”, it’s better to just walk away.

early breakfast break.........:Laugh1:

That group of Thais have been there every morning I went by that spot.

I think it's part of a motor taxi crowd, they play music all night and drink to early hours of the morning, so what could possibly go wrong. 😅

The women hanging around there are usually dressed in party gear and look to be high. They look they just completed their 'bush mountain' tour of duty.
