"Bar Owners who watch this program should be aware that a crackdown is currently ongoing in the Pattaya area. Pattaya Police in conjunction with Banglamung District Licensing Officers visited many late night entertainment venues on Friday Night. Soi Sunee Plaza and the Naklua Road were targeted on this night and we caught up with them at the Kunza Karaoke Club in Naklua where the staff were urine tested. A total of 10 staff members failed the test confirming the presence of met-amphetamine in their systems; however a search of the club did not uncover any narcotics on the premise. In this case a report of the incident was sent to the Provincial Governors Office who will decide if any revocation of licenses is warranted in this case. We understand the bar crackdown will continue for the next few weeks."

What actually happens if you fail one of these piss tests?Do they arrest you?Do you get deported or is it off to the monkey house?I can't imagine in Thailand they'll just say naughty boy don't do it again.

you will get arrested, if you cant bribe them, you will go to court.

 

Then you can pay 1,000,000 baht bail, then fuck off home and never return

 

or if you have no money you will go to Thai jail for 7 years then do the remainder at home. If your from the uk, you will serve 50% of the remaining time. If your from the usa probably 2-3 months and you will be out.

Another thing i've wondered about these tests is if you're coming from your own country with drugs in your system,weed can stay in your system for weeks

Never fear about crackdowns.....simply head to soi gorphai (aka korphai)(before and after the car wash) and go into one of the numerous karaoke bars which flout the law every night and still sing to at least 6am-7am. There is absolutely no law whatsoever regarding these establishments so not worries on getting raided. If your lucky the guy next door will be open and you can use the numerous gambling machines there.

 

In my opinion the cops have turned a blind eye too long in this area. One is owned by a cop but thats no excuse. Its a residential area and people try to sleep.....whereas walking st is a entertainment zone but they shut them down early.......wheres the justice?
