Hi

Hoping if someone who has stayed at D hotel can give their feedback. I found a really good deal for a month's time, however it is a standard room so is at the back side of the hotel. There are some reports of balconies at the back just facing another wall. I have asked for a high floor room in the hopes that this may help. Does anyone know if that give me a change of not having a wall view!?

The front facing rooms would be an extra $150 for my trip. Not a lot in the grand scheme of things, but I don't see a material difference in the standard v superior room, so I'd just be paying for the balcony view.

Thanks

What you said in your post is 100% correct.

room’s identical but the view at the back no matter what floor is of D apartments.

Also as for some reason they don’t have any furniture on the balconies I tend to spend less time there.

When it’s sunny high season I stay at the rear as the room stays cooler and you can open the curtains.

low season I take a room at the front.

great hotel especially now they have shade at the pool.

Thanks for confirming. That's a shame. Looks like my accommodation is still going to be up in the air for a while!

I wondered why I had so emails from Agoda offering more discounts @ D hotel after viewing?

If you stay at the back side there is one column of rooms, number 14 on each floor (ie 214, 314) etc where there is a slight better view between D Apartment and The Winner Place:

I have stayed there a few times, all the rooms are good, the rooms facing the other building are fine but if you want privacy and have the curtains open and somewhat of a view then ask for room 702.

701 is a more expensive room with tub and shower.

702 is a regular room but it has no building blocking the view.

The photo taken from my rooms balcony 701 and my friend stayed in 702

701 is at the end of the corridor so 702 to the left of it.

I've got all the D's shortlisted for my upcoming trip, does anyone have a rough idea of the monthly rate at D hotel arriving mid January?

I am pretty sure D hotel does not have a monthly rate.

D apartments and D express both do. I visited d apartments while staying in d hotel and checked the room and the monthly prices. I was not too impressed. I think 24k for the month, I don't remember for sure. It might be less in the low season.

My travel dates are mid January to mid February and for now I have a condo booked. Keeping an eye open on hotel prices.

If I remember well, my last visit a D-Hotel was Jan 2020, they have monthly rate; they had also on their official website (now not working anymore)
The price was around 30.000/32.000 if I not mistake it.

I found an old thread mentioned monthly rates.

Edit: Must have offered monthly rates hope they still do.
