Unique Regency Hotel - Pratumnak

I’m looking at the second week of August for my next solo trip to Pattaya. This time round, I want a change away from central Pattaya and I’m hoping to stay either on Pratumnak soi 5 or in Jomtien. Previously, I stayed on soi 5 twice before, but those of been family trips (stayed at the five star Sanctuary hotel, and the four star Lewitt). I would consider either of these again, but also right round the corner from both Kinnarree and Catflaps GCs is the Unique Regency hotel… got decent reviews and is on Agoda at a ridiculous 700THB nightly… be interested to hear if anyone’s stayed there?

Did you review Lewitt?

I’m probably going to be looking at hotels in that area for November. Don’t really want to be too far down the Soi though.

I don’t think I did mate. I went with my missus and nipper, meeting with friends who we’re staying right at the bottom of the soi…so I didn’t get round to writing a review. I really rated the Lewitt, genuine 4 star hotel - nice rooms, good customer service, no tour groups and decent pool. Price dependent, I would definitely stay again.

If I can get a decent price, I would also like to check out the Sirin (across the soi from Lewitt - Everything Pattaya vid).

Ok, thanks.

Friends live on Pratumnak so somewhere on Pratumnak Rd or the top half of Soi 5 might suit me for my rearranged trip in November. I need to clear out the condo before contract ends and will probably have about 3 weeks in a hotel, to spoil myself a little :)

It will depend on price as well as I don’t want to spend a fortune. Prices will probably change before I go, I’m not booking yet, but when I looked yesterday it was, for 3 weeks, about £950 for Tara Court, £907 for Unique Regency, just over £1000 for Lewit, £860 for Aiyara Grand. All include breakfast apart from Tara Court - which is very dated anyway.

There are 2 or 3 much cheaper places along Pratumnak (Argyle, Bloomin Hill, FX) but I’m not sure they’ll be much good. I can’t rough it anymore.

I am going to ask again, if anyone has some information on this hotel.  It looks pretty nice, maybe someone could share an actual experience.  Thank you!
