There is a much cheaper version as a once a day pill, about a quarter of the price of injectable.  Basically blocks the hunger pangs.

I checked with him, he does.

Hi sorry mate just to clarify do you mean ozempic or Phentermine.
I’ve messaged him on here, but not sure if he will reply. I’ll drop into his store tomorrow.

Phentermine is akin to the 'old school' speed-type diet pills

My shot was of the oral equivalent of Ozempic (similar weight loss results between oral and injectable versions if that's your goal) - but a better and more regular supply of the tablets.

Yeah all good I understand the differences I was just confused as all the people you quoted were talking about phentermine and you replied only with a pic of Semaglutide (ozempic)

Yes with no mention prior about the oral semaglutide alternative (Ozemic is the product name for injectable semaglutide - not per my photo), and those interested in a non-injectable were veering off-topic oblivious it seems to the alternative I posted.

Ozempic. Probably better if you call into the shop.

Ozympic isn't hard to find there as it isn't a controlled substance.  I found it at Fascinos.  BUT it was very expensive.  I think I recall one pen of four 1 mg injections was like 15,000 baht.  And you had to order it.  I passed as I use it to control diabetes and cutting sugars and more metformin worked until I got home.

I would be cautious buying it at a secondary source as there are copies being made.  No idea if they are legit.

Bought this at Chula MD pharmacy in Bangkok. I had tried the injectable before, and didn't remember to take it (yeah, I know its once a week, but I would open the fridge, see the pen and not even think that I was due for the injection).

Broke these down into 3.5 mg doses. Lasted 4 days on it. My gastric emptying was extremely delayed (and I should know better as I have a history of a small bowel obstruction) and woke up at 7 am belching the stench of my previous night's meal rotting away in my stomach.

Have 27 tablets left and won't be using it again. Was 9500 baht for one box. Chula MD is one of the cheapest pharmacies I have found in the country.

Please tell me exactly (not your assumptions) what would happen if someone doesn't take it whole. Nearly every pharmaceutical company tells you not to break down the tablets as they want to sell you their product. In fact, I dare to ask you to find a product monograph that states you can portion the medication down to smaller sizes.

And yes, I know the doses it comes in. I use MIMS all the time and have researched every medication I ever use.

The injectable gave me the same side effects as the tablets. I have decided they are not for me.

You would be better off taking a tablet every second day than cutting these tabs. They use a new technology that has the pill break down in the stomach, if you break the tablets it may not be uptake correctly into your system. Since semaglutide has a half life of 1 week, taking the pill every second or third day would have little difference than taking it daily.

Has anyone been prescribed or found Mounjaro/Zepbound in Thailand or Pattaya?

I'd like to find a qualified doc to review getting prescribed for it, and then find a reliable place to get it from.  I'll check with Tim's Pharmacy next week when I am in town too.

Amazing stuff that Mounjaro. Gone from needing 70+ units of humulin m3 insulin twice a day and still not having great sugar control to mid teens per shot and great numbers. Also lost around 10 kilos since starting it just over three months ago. A real game changer. Consultant is optimistic that at next dose up i may not need insulin shots.

I came, I saw, I mongered!

Not sure about in Thailand, but you can buy Semaglutide (active ingredient in Ozempic) for "research" purposes from dozens of different peptide websites and the cost is a fraction of what brand name would cost. I'm talking < $100 for a multi month supply.

My doctor wants me to go on Monjuoro but after a lot of research I  am not sure tbh. I have severe fatty liver and need to lose 20kg (127kg) atm.

What's your honest opinion and your side effects?

Go on keto. Load up the first 5 days on nothing but bacon (3 kg of bacon will be cheaper than one week of ozempic). You will lose the weight, and if you maintain the keto lifestyle, you will keep the weight off. Much easier to eat healthier than to rely on a shot to keep your hunger at bay (by delaying stomach emptying)

The Newcastle Diet (Incepted by studies at Newcastle University) proven to often reverse T2 Diabetes, also rather uniquely directly targets fatty liver deposits.

Google it

Its rather severe and not for whimps - two months 600 cal per day (diet shakes and a bit of leafy veg)
