Warning for Married Mongers

Just got off the phone this morning with a buddy of mine who frequents Thailand. He has been going there for about 3 years now.

 

His wife (American) goes into see her doctor for a yeast infection and the doctor makes her do a urine sample and swab test. Unrine sample comes back in 10 minutes and shows signs of a Urinary tract infection? To be safe the doctor orders a complete Blood checkup and takes 3 vials of blood.

 

1 Week later he gets the results in the mail. Aparently she has Herpes Type 1 and Type 2 in addition to a Urinary Tract infection and a normal yeast infection.

 

Now he is shitting bricks. He doesnt know if he is infected and has infected her? She doesnt show signs of infection and neither does he? He is fairly sure that she hasnt been cheating on him. He also wears condoms when he is in Asia.

 

Well, he takes her back down for a followup and the doctor tells her that she has Herpes Type 1 and 2. She throws a fucking fit and trys to blame it on him. He doesnt think he is infected cause he doesnt have symptoms. She doesnt either.

 

Doctors says that either one of them could have been infected for several years, maybe up to 30 years and not even know it. He say that just becuase you dotn have symptoms doesnt mean that you dont have the virus. Even without signs one person can pass it on to another.

 

Doctor orders a Bllod test for him and it also comes back positive for Herpes Type 1 and Type 2.

 

Well, he and his wife are now accusing each other. Doctor says that since they have been married about 10 years EITHER one of them could have been infected and passed it on to each other. Or Both may have already been infected before the meet each other.

 

After the conversation with him I go online and find some facts about the virus. Here is what I found....

 

1...Herpes Type 1 Virus is almost exactly the same as Type 2 virus. Only real diifference is where is is situated. Type 1 basically affects the mouth & lips region and type 2 mainly goes after the Genitails.

 

2. About 90% of people have Type 1. Basically cold sores. Most dont know they have it or dismiss it as just a cold sore.

 

3. About 1 in 4 people have Type 2. Bascially Genetaila Herpes. Many dont know they even have it. Many dont ever get symptoms. Many go on to give Type 2 herpes to people and doont even know they are giving it to others. You can pass it on to others without even having open sores.

 

4. Blood testing is the ONLY way to tell for sure that you have Type 1 or 2 herpes. Just becuase someone DOES NOT have open sores or have never experienced open sores doesnt mean they dont have Herpes.

 

5. Herpes Type 2 is easily passed between 2 people having sex. It can be passed via Oral sex or straight sex.

 

6. A person who is infected can pass it off to another even if there are no signs of open sores. While a person is "Shedding" (Not visable but active) the virus is active and can be passed on to another person even if they dont have open sores.

 

 

Bottom line here is that if you want to avoid Herpes allways wear a condom. Just becuase you dont think you have herpes doesnt mean that you dont have herpes. The only way to test and be sure is thru a blood test that SPECIFICALLY is testing for Herpes. Not all STD testing provides results for Herpes.

 

Next time you get a Blowjob or Sex with someone dont think you cant get herpes just becuse she doesnt have open sores around her pussy or face think again.

 

If you guys havent had a Blood test specifically for Herpes lately then I highly advise getting one EVEN if you dont have symptoms. He stated he has never had symptoms and his wife also never has symptoms. HOWEVER just becuase you dont have symptoms doesn mean you cant pass it on to someone else and they could end up have symptoms, even severe symptoms. The symptoms affect people in different way due to their different immune systems.

 

Also, anyone going to Asia I highly recommend Hepatitus vacinnations. Hep B is extremely easy to catch from someone who has Hep, especially if you are screwing the girl and she bleeds a little after intercourse.

 

Bottom line is that STDs are easily gotten rid of with a little medicine....HOWEVER, Herpes is forever and Hep B is gonna be hard to explain to your significant other. Take precuations.

I think you missed the whole point. Just becuase your married doesnt mean you cant get the virus BEFORE you were married. The point I was trying to make was that Herpes doesnt always have symptoms and once you get it you can still pass it without ever having symptoms. You could have gotten it way before you were even married. The point being ALWAYS USE CONDOMS. The point is that IF you ever get tested during your marriage you will never know if you got it BEFORE or AFTER marriage.

 

I wonder how many mongers here get regular checkups INCLUDING the blood tests for herpes. Many dont ever get tested for herpes cause they never develop symptoms. It wasnt until recently that they offered tests (blood) specifically for Herpes without actually scraping a sample of a open sore.

 

Ive been getting regular STD checkups. Not one of them ever included a basic test for Herpes. Im gonna get myself checked next week just to see. With 90% population with Type 1 and over 20% with Type 2 thats really high odds. Add to that your chances increase greatly if your a prostitute. Prostitutes in USA are said to be over 80% with Type 2.

 

As mongers we screw prostitutes and our chances should be much higher than the normal 20% population. I would also say that since the introduction of blood tests for Herpes that the rate of infection will be higher since most people only realize they have herpes when they have a outbreak. Most who get herpes will never expeprience the outbreak but once they get the virus they can easily pass it on to others even when they have no symptoms.

 

Expect over the next comming years Herpes infection rates will soar as people who never have had symptoms end up getting a STD test which will more than likely include the Herpes tests.

Well, if your infected and you dont use a condom then you could infect just about everyone you come in contact with sexually. Morally it would be the shit to go around hoping your were not in the process of "Shedding" (Having Herpes in the contageous mode. Doesnt show symptoms such as open sores but still is easliy passed on thru intercourse) and taking chances of passing on the virus.

 

I really wonder now how many mongers might have the virus and not even know it cause it takes a specific test to determine when no symptoms are present?????

On another note.....Wonder if the "Lolitas BJ bar" tests specifically for Herppes Virus? Im fairly sure they test for basic STD's but do they test for Herpes via blood test? Or do they just wait for girls to have symptoms and if they get symptoms then they test them via a swab test? Swab tests are not that accurate for determining Herpes infection.

 

Also, Herpes Type 1 can be passed from Oral Sex and end up on your genetails. Also Type 2 can be passed from a mans genetails into a womans mouth via Oral sex. How many men get uncovered BJ's and inadvertently pass on Type 2 Herpes, especially since the majority of Type 2 herpes carriers NEVER esperience symptoms?

A good point about this original post is that now there is a blood test for herpes that's effective even when there is no outbreak. So, everyone should get tested ... Why? Knowledge is power and there are some medications for it. (not a cure)

Before my trip in April of last year, I figured I would try something new so, I shaved the unit. About a month after my trip , I had a small bump at the base of my Johnson. There was no pain or open sore, just a small bump. I was worried as hell all the same. I went to see my doc. He took one look, made a tiny cut and, pulled out a hair about four inches long. He then ran all the tests. Thank god everything came back negative.

Herpes really never goes away. You can be "shedding" and there might not be any visual signs. Thats why its so damn important to wear Condoms at all times. Chances are alot less is your wear them. The shaft of your penis is a good entry point for the virus. Other parts of your body is harder and the skin isnt as open as your penis. Your mouth is also a easy point since you have alot of glands and mositure.

 

With the new Blood test (must test specifically for Herpes as many blood tests dont do specific test for herpes) Im sure alot more cases will come to light with people who never knew they had it. Also when someone says they have just a "cold sore", well, its Herpes Type 1. A cold sore is a cold sore but its still Herpes Type 1.

if you are from the USA its even worse, just like a cold sore you get a tingling before an outbreak comes so if you can buy over the counter medicine you can treat and usually prevent a herpes outbereak whether on your dick or your lips. Here is the rub in the USA , the Aciclivar cream and tablets, available without prescription in Europe and of course Thailand is only available from a doctor in the USA.

 

If you have cold sores ( got mine from kissing a girl with one when I was a teenager - the old addage who you been kissing when you get a coldsore being true) you know they are painfull buggers that last about 2 weeks.
