Private pool villa or room

Looking for suggestions on rooms or villas with a private pool in Koh Samet, Koh Phai or similar.

I think you're going to struggle. 

Don't think there's anything on Larn/Phai, there is one on Samet, Paradee, but you'll pay for it. It was c£500 per night when I looked for February.

Plenty of options on Koh Chang, though may be out of your preferred travel range. I have both the Gajapuri and Paradise Resort pool villas booked for my Feb trip.

Yeah definitely not looking at Koh larn. Koh Chang is an option but prefer not to travel so far for only a couple of nights.

Must be other options on other islands out there.

x2 hotel might be an option? not on an island, but still has an "outside of pattaya" feel and the rooms look great and reviews are good.

The beach at Rayong might be your best chance?

There's some surprisingly nice resorts down there.

I've never looked but there could well be something to suit what you're after.

I've also been searching for a villa with a private pool or a hotel room with a private pool and patio, but not found one yet.

I just want something outside Pattaya for two nights, say up to two hours away.  100% I can not find anything in Koh Samat or Koh Larn.

Saying that, I did find something in Koh Larn which got me all excited, until I noticed the private 'pool' looks like it is just a kiddie paddling pool sunk below the deck:

I've used Agoda and AirBnB but not found anything ideal yet - but my search will continue.....

to clariy: i was talking about the X2 Pattaya Oceanphere. There are 2 x2 resorts, but i think only the oceanphere consists of all pool villas
