Insurance for the new long term visa

TravelAround

Recommended Posts

What insurance do you use for the new long term visa?

They ask to "Provide a health insurance policy covering medical expenses in Thailand of at least USD 50,000 with a remaining coverage period of at least 10 months as of the date of the letter of qualification endorsement issuance".

Also, I don't need 10 months because I will only spend 6 months max in Thailand. Anyone in my situation?

Thanks

If 10 months is asked for, I'd say get that :)

What exactly is the visa? And where are you applying?

If you make "over USD 80 000 / year in the past two years" you only need the insurance. Don't need USD 1 million in assets or the investment. That's the response I get from the immigration employee.

So I'm just looking for the insurance information
