I didn’t see those prices when I looked at it for flights in January, but a change in my plans (going to Phuket after Pattaya instead of before) made it impractical for me this time around (would have to spend a night in in Bangkok at the end, since the flight back to Vancouver departs early in the morning).

16 hour flight though, and nearly $4000Cdn.

I'm on the flight (March 13, 2023) with a return (04 April 2023)

I'm flying out of Chicago (ORD-YVR-BKK) and paid $825 (USD)

The return flight has already been adjusted as it appears the flight schedule has been adjusted

My return is now BKK-NRT-YUL-ORD and the first legs is on Thai Airways.

The original announcement said it was a seasonal flight (01 Dec-14 April) and it seems that has been adjusted

My mistake, I did a quick check on skyscanner because I was going to book this flight at one time when I heard it was going to start. Didn't end up doing it mostly because of the flight time and booked a flight from Calgary for $1700 instead. You got a good deal on that flight for sure.
