Ambassador hotel

Was about to book the landmark for 3 nights in feb.  It's 110 euro a night . Just seen a deal for the Ambassador hotel for only 25 euro a night . Seems too good to be true.  Any info on it ?

Ambassador is not in the same class as Landmark. Even so, very good value at 25 euros.

Be sure to book a renovated room.

And email to ask if they charge a visitor fee; stayed there some time ago and got hit with a fee but have read it no longer applies.

I had 3 nights there not long ago and it was very nice. Great pool as well

I didn't pay a joiner fee in 2019 but they did charge me 40 baht to photo copy her ID! I

Wasn't there a club called Climax in the basement at one time?  What is taking up that space now?  Used to be a good place to go once the Nana GGs closed.

Ambassador is one of the classic old Bangkok hotels!

I never stayed myself but used to sneak in behind the reception and use the swimmingpool for free back in the days! 😉

They also had huge aviaries with lots of Parrots and Cockatoos all over the place!

Then they renovated the hotel and I had now to walk by the reception to get to the pool, but was stopped by the guards never to return! 😏

Climax was great place to party until the wee hours when the sun was coming up
