Where to buy almonds, pecans or walnuts at a decent price

I found that at 7-11, FamilyMart, Villa, Friendship and Foodland the price for Almonds was about 320 baht/lb. (700 baht per kilogram)

 

I think they must be available elsewhere for less. Back home, i think there half as much.

 

Any ideas where to look in Patts.

huh ? where are you looking ? their cheap as chips in the part of spain i go to but then again thats possibly cos virtually every garden and bit of land has trees and tree of them LOL

Yes it's funny. I have a friend who gives them away too as he gets a very low price from intermediaries but if you try to buy them at stores or open markets they get really expensive. Why?. I think because intermediaries can buy from poor countries imports very cheap, so local producers have to sell cheap too. But at the end the consumer gets a high price
