Second place Chantaburi FC up next, this Saturday 6pm kick off.

A Nico Velez goal gave us a 0-1 win tonight, while second place Chantaburi was drawing 1-1.

Means Pattaya are League Champions with 3 games to spare.

What more does it mean? Promotion to L1 and playing MTU and Buriram next year?

 

Edit .. Oops sorry just saw they are L3 East... Still similar question , they are promoted to L2? Or are there conditions like financial , ground capacity etc that they may not fulfill?

There is a series of playoffs between the top 2 sides (IIRC) from each of the other L3 regional divisions. Last year Pattaya came 3rd in the round robin stage and missed out on the play-off final.

One of the worst games of football I have ever endured.

Okay, the league is already won, the manager played a weakened team, but even still, it was embarrassingly bad.

Highlight of the night was the bratwurst sausages that are now on sale for 100 baht, which were delicious.

I think that the regular season finished recently and Pattaya have won their league (again!)

Any information yet on the National Championship round?

Still one game of the regular season to be played, Saturday vs Pluakdaeng United at 4pm.

We will also be presented with the Championship Trophy on Saturday also.

Still not heard anything about dates for the playoffs, but we are expecting a trip to Phitsanulok, Uttaradit, or maybe SiSaket.

Last time I looked it said 22 matches played but now says 21 matches - so yes, of course 1 match to play!

Any info on the Championship round dates?

Coming over late April/early May, but guessing it will be all finished by then?

Would be nice to catch another match (watched a few whilst I was over earlier in the season in November), but unfortunately think I will be too late

A return to using Pattaya United has been approved for next season.

A 2-0 win yesterday, followed by a party that was a lot more fun than the football itself.

Led to believe, the draw for playoffs will take place on Monday, with the first game in 2 weeks time.

Decent win last night, in front of the biggest crowd for a while.

Chantaburi, who also won last night, is up next, Sunday 6pm.

A disappointing 0-0 draw last night.

Not that it was a boring game, far from it, quite a nasty game, refereed by a complete incompetent.

Decent crowd of over 1200.

The T2 dream hangs by a thread.

Played in the afternoon heat, on the bumpiest pitch you can imagine, yet the biggest problem was the inability of the strikers to put the ball in the net.

A very poor display again, and deserved to get beat.

Away to Phitsanulok next week, followed by SiSaket at home.

Its not looking good.
