Travel lodge has a nice rooftop pool as well as the computers. When I stayed there it was the only time I broke my phone and had to use them to send emails and messages.

Just make sure you check that the construction mentioned in the other thread about that soi, will be done for your dates.

And its just about the best hotel in Pattaya all things considered! (IMHO)

D hotels sisters, D Apartment and D Xpress the same - computers in lobby and rooftop pools.

Wave on Beach Road also has a computer in reception and a nice pool albeit at somewhat tastier nightly rates.

The Nova Gold hotel actually has computers in each room (or at least it did) so could be an option too. Has a shaded pool too

PSA: be careful with entering your passwords on public computers, you never know if they have a password stealing virus.

Is there a chance that those password stealing virus are on  a 'wifi' server?

Can be in several different places. Almost any computer can be infected with a virus. The risk is much higher when many different people have access to that computer.

A public computer in a hotel lobby will almost certainly be infected with something. It’s not worth the risk in case you use it to login to anything private. Just buy your own laptop. If you don’t need it for anything advanced, just get the cheapest new one you can find.
