Sisterz Go Go & Show Bar’s Limbo Dance Party is this Thursday 26th March. This is the first foray into Thursday Night Extravaganzas this year. Come down and enjoy outrageously cheap Happy Hours, 50b Cheap Shots and see just how low masses of lovely ladies can go as they slide under the pole! A fun and definitely ‘different’ night out. We will also have a few surprises including Customer Giveaways.

 

Happy Hour starts at 8pm until 11pm and is 48b for a fine selection of Beers – large glasses of draft Chang and Bottles of Tiger, Singha, Chang and a multitude of House Spirits. House Spirits include quality known brands such as 100 Pipers and Gordons etc rather than the cheap stuff possibly sold elsewhere. After 11pm Happy Hour drinks continue at the ridiculously low price of only 79b. How low? 79b for all Happy Hour drinks until we close!!!

 

We have a selection of Cheap Shots including Kamikaze and Pussy Juice at only 50b!! And if that does not tickle your fancy there is a whole list more at 750b for 10 shots. Try the whole list, mix ‘em up or enjoy 10 shots of your favourite. Ask Service for the complete list!

 

Sisterz Go Go and Show Bar is introducing a selection of Imported Beers which we hope will appeal to the discerning drinker. This is to compliment Asahi Beer and Bulmers Cider we already stock.

 

We hope you can make it. The bar opens at 8pm and we will start contortions around 9.30pm We are expecting a crowd, so come early for a front row seat

Went to Limbo party. Early in but not started. Sudden flash and a blackout. Should be OK soon the service girls said. Sat for half an hour in the gloom. Manager didn't go around and tell anyone anything. No one knew what was going on. Mate and I got sick off waiting with no idea what was happening. We left in disgust. It has to be said that the management need to focus on the customers, provide info if something stuffs up and understand if you treat them like shit then the feet walking out will be numerous. Pretty crappy outcome for a night that promised so much.

I am sorry to hear the above and obvioulsy you are 100% right - I should have informed everyone that there was a power cut with one phase out. A crappy outcome is an understatement. For so early in the evening, we had a very busy bar. Almost full. We had numerous things planned throughout the night and at the time it went - 8.40 - the show girls were just into their first show.

 

The power loss has been happening ever since Christmas Eve and effects Soi Diamond, most of Soi 15 and a small part of Walking Street - where we are. When it actually happened, I went to ensure that City Hall and the Power Company had been made aware so that it got fixed as soon and as quickly as possible. I then went to the transformer in Soi 15 outside baby dolls to look and see how badly it had tripped and if anyone was there already fixing it - sometimes it has just popped - and sometimes it is blackened and charred and needs replacing which takes longer. Sometimes the power is off for litterally 10 minutes. On this occassion, it came back on at 10.15pm.

 

We have asked the Power Company for a permanent fix to this problem which affects so many different businesses and tourists. Their response has been it is upto to businesses to buy a transformer at a cost of 200,000 baht BUT unfortunately although we would consider this, they have been to check and there is nowhere to place it. I have tried to exert influence/pressure on the power company and their response is always the same. 200,000 but you no have room.

 

Since then - we have instituted our own temporary fix - which to date has ensured that even if there is such a power cut, after a temporary darkenss, the bar remains open with lights and music - hopefully as per normal depending on voltage drops.

 

Please believe, there was no one more frustrated that night, than me. We had had a gaggle of crisis that all arrived at once that night. Most serious was Greg our manager had been rushed to hospital and was operated upon that night, in addition to other plans for that night which fell apart.

 

It would never be in any bar owners interest to treat the customers, as you put it, like shit. I hope at some time in the future, you can come back to the bar and give us another try. Whilst I cannot guarantee no power outages - our temporary fix has ensured that such problems are much more copable with by ourselves.

 

As posted elsewhere, we now have a very cheap Happy Hour of 38b - Gregs birthday party is tomorrow (Thursday 11th) and a 4th July party as well already lined up.
