Your other option is you can hire a car yourself

Most car hire places will rent a car for around 1000 baht a day

I have looked into that. I'm not too confident of driving in Thailand. I don't want the wheel in my hand when one of those suicide jockeys rides his scooter under my wheels.

Also you can only book this way within 7 days of your intended game. If you flick them an email during business hours in LoS the girls there will reply within an hour usually and will offer you various tee times depending on course maintenance booking levels etc

Thanks. That's good to know. The question is - can I go without my breakfast!!!!!!

I hear that.  I HAVE driven a rental in Pattaya on occasion but I hate it.  And add to it I'm not used to driving on that side of the road.

This line of thinking I find a bit bizarre

I don't live in a big city myself but driving in LOS is not much different than driving in peak hour in the city

The Motorbikes are not as much of a problem as you think they stick left and you go around them eventually

I have driven all over LoS

Phuket Chiang Rai Chiang Mai Koh Chang Bangkok Pattaya etc and don't bat an eyelid to it

The fear on driving in LoS people have is unfounded with the reality once you are behind the wheel

If anything I find driving there better than I do in Farangland. There is a level of respect n cooperation on the road which ain't present in the West

Everytime I come I see another set of toll booths and another motorway. I thought I knew my way to golf courses but now I'm not so sure.

I don't think I have your confidence. If taxis were the same price as at home then it becomes a damn good idea. For the moment I'll stick to the back seat. Cheers

Heck the way they add and delete highway exits is a mystery to the locals sometimes.  😜
