Best way to stay 4 months

I'm planning to return to Thailand sometimes around October or November and stay for 4 months. Normally I would get it 60 days Visa and then leave the country and travel to either Malaysia or Cambodia and then return to Thailand for a couple of months. However, during a pandemic I really don't want to do that. What's the best way for me to stay for 4 months. Can I get a 60-day Visa and then renew it in Jomtien  twice ?

In “normal” (pre-Covid) times you could only extend 1 time for 30 days.

At the moment they are still doing special Covid extensions where people can renew multiple time, but it’s unsure how long they will still be doing this.
