Seemingly most Pattaya locals are perplexed by pedestrian crossings and the need to slow down, it no surprise this adds to it.

It’s unfortunate that local council seemingly miss the very important component of ‘brand education’ when introducing something new. When the apparent vast majority are most likely unlicensed it’s a waste to implement something new and expect compliance.

I love the Wild West feeling that LOS gives, don’t expect locals to adhere to new regulations when the old ones aren’t enforced.

Surely they are to stop motorists parking near to the crossing, blocking the view of pedestrians attempting to cross?

Speed bumps annoy the hell out of me but Pattaya crossings are a place they could be useful.

Go over speed bumps fast enough on a motorcycle and you hardly notice them!
