If I am not mistaken that’s a privately owned road, not from the city. But if the mayor wants to fix it, sure.

Dig up some more roads and sidewalks.     There's still a few that are useable. 555.

Turn Second road into a canal.  Most of the holes are already dug with water flowing beneath.

Ideally

• Pull all the possible levers to re-instate Pattaya primacy in nightlife entertainment around the World
• Target tourists, retirees and remote workers to come over with their dollars and pounds with campaigns and special programs 
• Have one license approach for all entertainment outlet to reduce bureaucracy 
• Engage a reputable international consultancy to re-design Walking Street
• Remove the thugs that masquerade as security who beat up customers
• Offer targeted medical insurance on a pool basis for foreign residents to encourage more of them to settle here. 
• Provide a support scheme such as gratuity payment based on tenure, medical cover, etc for BGs who work in the industry and bring in the big bucks for the state. 

In reality

• Repay my supporters and sponsors who got me elected 
• Do cosmetic changes across the board to keep everyone happy as funding is limited
• Try hard to negotiate with various influential groups to keep the peace and keep the show on the road
• Navigate thru the bureaucracy to accomplish a few thing
• Plan for the next elections
