That gold looks too bright and yellow to be Thai gold, I know from past experience that there are very few places in Pattaya that will buy foreign gold. If this is legit it shouldn't be too hard for the BiB to track down where it was sold and who sold it.

Interesting that during the 2 years of the pandamic I never heard about gold neclace thefts.  True very little tourism but enough expats and domestic tourism here for a while.  Then suddenly it's the same story for 2 weeks and the gold neclaces get more and more valuable.  And it seems to be ok to haggle for beach road pussy while showing off all this gold to prove you are a high roller. 

I do agree that thefts happen.  But I would like to see if these gold neclaces came with reciepts, and photo evidence if them even existing.  

There are a lot of CCTV cameras around.  They may not be in the crime area (or working) but the person with the gold should maybe prove they left a hotel or club wearing such an item.
