Just a quick topic on the subject of football (or soccer for our american friends)

 

Whos your team, how long have you supported them and why?

 

Mine is Sunderland and I have supported them all my life, ive also been a season ticket holder for the last 15 years (call me mad but its in the blood)

 

sayin that tho i think the times are a changin` with quinn and keano at the helm and truly believe the glory days are ahead again!! :Happy1:

Sunderland will be a major force to be reckoned with in the premiership next season because of the money that Keane will get to buy players.

Reading are really doing great considering their lack of funds, I hope reading can hold onto all the the talented young players that they have.

oh we have funds ok, but with a shrewd manager as Steve Coppell (who incidently holidays in Pattaya every summer..golfing) in charge we will never buy any big time charlies, most of the present squad are now tied down on long term contracts, with the exception of Steve Sidwell who looks destined to join Newcastle in the summer, major development of the stadium will start in the close season which will increase the capacity in 2 years from a meagre 24,000 to 38,000, the future looks bright providing we can avoid second season syndrome that as affected Wigan and West ham this year.
