Pullman Sukhumvit in shambles?

Hi all, this is a PSA. If you have a reservation at the Pullman on Sukhumvit 21 you might want to at least have a good backup plan upon arrival.

I'm booked with Pullman in the middle of June. I happened to notice a 1-star review on Google maps today, so I dove in a little deeper and it seems like the place has turned into a hellhole. There are numerous complaints of people having to wait for their rooms to be available -- and I don't mean a couple hours when it's 10am, I mean waiting until 8pm, 9pm, longer. Housekeeping seems to be not be able to keep up with the number of rooms to be cleaned, and there are reports of piss stains, lack of towels, dust and dirty and no cleaning whatsoever.

My booking is fully refundable so I haven't canceled it yet, but I have made another booking nearby for the same dates (also refundable). I got a good deal on the Pullman booking, and I would like to stay there, but unless I get word that things are improving I'll probably skip it.

If anyone has any boots on the ground information, I'd love to hear it.

Yeah, some real horror stories there. I'm still hoping they will have solved the issues a month from now, but I'm glad to have a backup plan and know what to expect.
