Well, there's also the thing that some people don't take a phone with them going out. But, for me, even more importantly, meeting up with some friends for a bite to eat, I'd find it depressing if everyone had to fiddle around with their phones.

For those interested, Hemingway’s Pattaya has Kilkenny on draught from 4pm today. Might be a one-off so if you’re desperate for one, be quick. 240 baht a pint

I went in there a few weeks ago and the service is terrible, waited forty five minutes for my meal which had been sitting there for ages cooling down so I won't be going back.

Manager says he’s been sent it as a favour as he knows Guinness sales director or similar. Claims it’s the only place in Thailand that has it and it might be a one off delivery. (All from FB)

To be fair I’ve had breakfast in there a few times and no complaints, good size, quality ingredients and served quickly. 

It clearly needs the crowds back though, way too big for current level of clientele.

Made the journey yesterday from Jomtiem to sample the Kilkenny and guess what, no hab. Gutted.

Did have that Mexican chilli burger-bang average, as was menu, did not see any daily specials displayed.

First time in Hemingways Pattaya, they have done a nice job on it, proper sports bar set up.

But its flat, needs turbo charging, old Retox had much better vibe/menu etc.

Had a few pints of old speckled hen, was ok but did have my heart set on Kilkenny.

I miss Retox, Such fond memories of the place. Went to Hemingsway at Soi Honey, Didn't get the same vibe, can't even play darts when someone is watching TV. Only found a cute little waitress who I will work on to try and take back to room, Any idea if they are BF'able?

Yep I had the same issue uncooked chips 

I can’t be arsed trying other restaurants in Pattaya now for F/C I just stick to Witherspoons not perfect but normally a solid 7/10
