lads i will be in los next week and need help re phones and related charges.

 

i will bring a spare mobile and get a local sim from local store,. however i need

 

to know how to ring home on the cheap without ringing via a computer . :GoldenSmile1: pleaase help.

If you are using 1-2-Call dial 009-Country_Code-Number

I believe that 008 also works and don't know if one is cheaper than the other.

On my last trip I was on the phone with the US over 1 hour per day and 009 was quite resonable and good quality.

As far as I could decipher it was about 5 baht per minute.

I have a Virgin Mobile cell phone. Can I use this in Patts ? Also, what kind of adapter do I need to charge the phone?

You need to get it unlocked.

 

the voltage as UK 240v Just need a two pin plug you can get one there.
