Are there any Chiang Mai or general Thailand forums like this one that deal with everything, including whoremongering?

You can try Bangkok Addicts …which has an obvious area of focus.  
 

This very forum has a section on areas and even countries out side of Patts… may be worth a read.

While not a forum and the information within is pre-Covid, I always recommend the site Thailand Redcat, which I found tremendously helpful. The writer does excellent rundowns of various areas in LOS with articles on both the tourist attractions as well as the mongering options and also has articles in the various ways to get from place to place.
