Girls posing at the beach

Quite often you walk at the beach and you see a thai girl or 2 taking photos of each other.

Sometimes they go into full model mode and emphasis their curves and pose seductively.  On ko larn this happens a lot at the crowded waters edge.

What does the guy with a photographic interest do in such a situation ?  He could just watch and enjoy.  But his instinct will be to reach for his camera and snap too.

Issues could arise.  555.  Maybe be bold and ask them to be your model.

My instinct when spotting hotties in public is to reach for my camera and snap photos without permission.

At the beach, ideally you want at least a 300 mm zoom lens to really zero in from afar, so there's less chance of being spotted.

The normal reaction of females seeing you secretly taking photos of them will be repulsion and fear.

You are a stranger. Approaching them and asking them to pose for you will be met with suspicion and fear.

They just want you to get the fuck away from them.

Granted, it's possible to disarm their suspicions, but only if you have really smooth game, and seem relatively harmless.

Everything depends on your intention. Are you sincerely interesting in capturing beauty - or lusting for their body in a sexual way? 

I have found that to be a successful voyeur photographer, you have to be willing to be a dick.

I took the following pics about six months ago. I think the chicks might have eventually seen me taking their pics, I'm not sure.

When I'm caught taking secret photos, my first instinct is to flee the scene.

I do not agree. I am old and they usually welcome me to take photos and laugh and giggle and pose. What you mentioned happens in the U.S. but not usually here. They do not have our fear and suspicions.

My Thai G.F. and I ran into a Russian Model at Centara Grand in Naklua. My G.F. ran up and said "You are soooo beautiful". Can I take a photo with you?" They spent the next 10 minutes hugging and taking photos and telling each other how beautiful they were. I had all kind of fantasies but they did not happen. Thai ladies and Thai people do not think like us. Our ideas are old and fucked up.

Haha, I get this feeling all the time when seeing models/photographers not interacting well or not doing a great job.

In my head, somehow I'm going to sweep the model off her feet with my skills and educate the photographer and everyone is going to win, especially my ego.

In reality, this is very arrogant and an invasion into whatever they are trying to achieve. Just my take but sit back, watch and enjoy.

This is something to photograph.  Meeting someone by chance and spending some time and fun together.  

Taking photos of random women on the beach is OK if at a festival or concert to remember it by, but cruising the beach and randomly taking photos of women you have not met is not a "cool" thing to do always  IMO. 

To each thier own, KoS takes some great photos and assume a lot of the readers here are not in LOS and appreciate seeing the sights and the women

During the Pattaya Pride parade last month, there were many "model" shoots on the beach.

I took some shots of the action.

The picture quality isn't that good because my old Samsung phone has a shitty telephoto zoom.
