Airline Lounge Information - Post Covid19

I'm working on booking trips to Thailand.  Many different ways to get there from the US....

A significant consideration for me is Airline Lounges ... it's a much better trip if the lounges are open.

Tried searching for info on whether the Thai lounges in BKK are open ... not much luck.

So, if you have any solid info on lounges, please post it here.

Are they open or closed?

What services are available?  Food?  Drinks?

My particular interests are:

-Dallas International terminal Star SAlliance

-BKK International and Domestic

-JAL lounges in Tokyo

-Frankfurt Star Alliance

-Istanbul Turkish Airlines

-BKK Lufthansa

-LAX

-San Francisco

-Chicago

-Manila International

Let's share info and keep everyone informed as we head back to LOS!

I try to plan my layovers to airports with a smoking lounge. Some airports have no smoking so I have to go outside, which is almost always outside of the secured area. So I have to make sure the layover is long enough to account for that. There are a few business lounges that have a smoking room.

LH Lounges are open

BKK
Thai Royal Orchid Lounge is open (partner lounge for LH)

I assume you got minimum a medium status at a Frequent Flyer Program of a Star Alliance Member Airline, so you might get the info you're looking for here:

Either flying Business, or having Senator/Star Gold Status will give you access.

Gold Thai ROP

Interestingly, Thai stopped miles expiration until Dec 2023 and froze status.

Thanks.  I think it’s going to be really dynamic in the next 6 months.
