Old Hands

Recommended Posts

Many years ago in my late 20's, I read a comment about how your hands were one of the first physical indicators to show you were getting old(er)

Now in my early 50's, I keep remembering that comment as I look & think, I have got "old hands"  :)

Just curious as to whether most "older" people agree with this

I guess so, my old hands and right forearm have gotten thinner skin and the odd white spot.  Shows up more if I’m a bit dehydrated.

Right arm is from fat-arming along the Highway for years in the Australian sun.

I have vitiligo on both hands, elbows, knees and feet.  Plus, I’m starting to see it coming up on my face.39805B98-7F9A-4CC9-8D7D-BEDFE71E4966.thumb.jpeg.22ef2c3aa1a1c01625d604739c0adf62.jpeg

I've got hands that look in the full Blush of youth. Unfortunately, my face looks like an audition for Last of the Summer Wine on a  blustery day in the dales.
