Hi, can anyone suggest a place to have Skin Tags removed and any idea of cost?

Many Thanks

I had a lot of them removed a few years ago at Bumrungrad.  They use a topical anaesthetic and laser them off.  The scars clear in a week or two.  I don’t remember the cost but it wasn’t expensive.  I’m sure any of the hospitals in Pattaya would do it through their skin care/plastic surgery units.  They might give you an estimate by email or at an appointment.  I made an appointment at Bumrungrad, saw the doctor who examined the tags,  gave me an estimate.   I said yes and they did the work immediately.  They sent me on my way with a prescription for pain in case I experienced any.  I didn’t and didn’t use the pills.

I used BHP about a dozen years ago. The dermatologist used a laser on about 10 tags. It was painless. I don't remember how much it cost but it was expensive. If there's a next time I'll go to a clinic.

What causes skin tags ?

If you're here in Pats, then you're SOL - at last for the moment - until 'thing open up again' (whenever the bloody hell that is?).  Most doc offices are closed with the exception of hospitals and the likes.  i would try one of the skin care clinics within town to see it they do it.  I think they're classified as 'spas; so yeah... they're defiantly closed.  I have had mine done 6 years ago from a dermatologist in the states.  Was a very simple process; rubbing oil and a very sharp x-acto knife.  it's a family 'hand-me-down' skin issue.  Had them around my eyes and around my neck. The dermatologist counted 30+ cuts that day.  Couldn't even feel the pain.  The alcohol ointment afterwards was more of a sting than the procedure itself.  30 min in/out.  At the time $75.

Since i went on keto in Dec '20, i lost 22 kilos, I have 8-more to go - get my BMI to 22.  I noticed several tiny tags around my neck have disappeared as well.  Googled it to confirm - yes keto helps.  Apparently the reduction of sugar and carbs can extinguish skin tags, notwithstanding genetic dispositions, as mentioned before.  Also, I saw this on YT: try blotting Apple Cider Vinegar - apparently that works - don't know, never tried - give a shot and tell us if it works!

FACT: skin tags are (1) as I mentioned are handed down from your folks - my moms side has'em.  So there nothing you can do to stop them from occurring. (2) Slicing them off works and will never re-grow on that particular location.  However a new on can grow next to the old one. (4) recent studies (google it , read up) Skin tags have been known as signs of related health issues; i.e. diabetes.  Be sure to do your research!   Cheers now!

I have the same experience. Since going low carb and no sugar all my skintags disappeared.

I just had bit of skin removed at the doctor and cancer tested. His was in Chiang Mai at the Sripat Medical center. Doc was great, surgery was easy, no scar. It cost about 3500thb for surgery and another 3500 for the lab biopsy. The whole thing was done quickly and easily via walk-in.

I recently had 2 removed from my eyelids. I used Akara Clinic on 3rd road, 2000฿ for both. Lasered off, was completely painless and took 5 minutes.

There’s a laser clinic on pattaya Klang not far from Big C extra which I went to years ago. Had a few skin tags removed from shoulder and think was 1000bt. Quick and effective and pain free.
