Hospital / Clinic etc for Thai girl in Pattaya

Old friend of mine (Thai National) here in Pattaya has had a sore throat for weeks and it’s very swollen.

She has not seen the inside of a hospital since she was born (Blimey) and doesn’t know where to go to get looked at. Her Tabien baan is registered in Udon and her friends are about as much help as a chocolate fireguard. Her whole group are completely useless at everything besides eating, Now that I think about it.

anyone recommend somewhere to get this looked at? Last time I took a girl to a hospital in Bangkok they tried to fit us up for every pointless treatment known to man and wouldn’t give the results of the tests back without coughing up another 10,000 baht

cheers

I consider Pattaya Memorial to be a decent and affordable private hospital.

Probably you are already aware, but be careful: sore throat can be a Covid-19 symptom.

Any Thai govt or Queens hospital should fix her up for very little baht. I know there's a big one in Sattahip. Anybody know of a closer one?

Government hospitals require the Tabien baan to be register in the province, doesn’t it?

I've got no clue about that. I went to the Queens hospital in Sattahip probably about 15-20 years ago for a complete physical, and was welcomed with just my passport. But that was a long time ago and things change.

Nearly used this guy couple of years ago.Had an ear and throat infection.Had a look on internet and had quite a few recommendations .At the time he had recently moved premises, think his old office was on Pattaya Klang.By the time I found his new office was due to fly home.
