Here I sit and I just watch the BIB checking each door.  There were somemedical staff too.  What are they checking for, Im not sure.  Has there been ladies found with COVID?  Im not sure, but with the rumor of no more luve streaming is there a connection,?  No one knows.  If I het more information  I will let you know.  Are they going to bars on other sois, I dont know.  More to follow.

Update, they went bar, to bar, and the posted note is they want to test the personnel on the soi for COVID.  Rumor has it that there have been some positive cases here as of late.

 Even if they find a Covid cluster on Soi 6, I doubt if you will read about it in the media. The local media only prints what the Chonburi government officials tell them.

When I contacted the Pattaya News editor about the rumor of Covid infections in livestream bars, he replied, "We don't do investigative reporting." 

He pointed out that that since bars are closed, infected bargirls can't spread the virus to customers.

He further assured me that there hasn't been any Covid outbreak cluster in Pattaya in months, so there's nothing to really worry about right now.

So, we resident sexpats have only rumors to inform us about whether any Pattaya  bargirls or masseuses are infected with Covid-19.

I mean they have announced which bars have had covid, I believe in some reports released they showed even PinUp had it at one point, and some bars on Soi 6 had it as well they even named several like Foxy bar.

If you have facebook some girls post that they are taking tests, some even posted they were positive for it and ended up doing a quarantine in a hotel but had no symptoms so they were a symptomatic and got through it just fine.

No real news about bargirls getting really sick and hospitalized just a few actually having it, testing, quarantining and then leaving just fine.

Umm do you know who owns The Pattaya News or who the editor you emailed is?  I doubt you’d be seeing much negative Soi 6 news reported there.

They were naming specific venues on LK and walking st that had clusters before.

I was with some girls who were there and said they havn't been tested but that there were some girls in another bar that did have covid. 

Take it with a pinch of salt because I doub't they'd tell me if they were at risk anyway.

I’m sure expat managers are checking up and/or supervising the livestream girls…….they could very well be a symptomatic too and spreading it round their mates
