My Pattaya Bay Resort Review

I know a lot of guys like this place so i'm sorry if i hurt some feelings

 

In my opinion this hotel is not worth 1399baht i payed

 

My room number was 704

 

Positives:

 

The Location is decent

The staff is fun and easy to talk to

The breakfast is good

 

Negatives:

 

The rooms walls are paper thin and you can hear everything that's going on in the hallway

The comforter needs to be cleaned or changed. it got splooge stains all over it

If you take room 704 you are right under the pool so you hear the deck chairs being dragged around in the morning and through out the day. not good if you want to take a nap

Also the internet was pretty slow and would cut off from time to time. (it was not my laptop because i would go to other places with free internet and have no issues)

 

 

 

If your not a light sleeper then this will not be a problem but if you are i would say stay somewhere else. By not being able to get a goodnight sleep helped prolonged the jetlag and put a little damper on my trip. Part of the problem is mine for not trying to find another hotel.

I didn't have the same problems when I stayed there, but I also didn't pay ฿1,399/night either. It is a good value at their low season monthly rate of ฿14,000, but I agree that it isn't a great value for what you paid. The standard studio room is quite small for that price.

Never stayed at the hotel i hate rooms with thin walls , and time after time you hear this hotel does have thin walls. Thank you for your honest opinion plenty hotels ..

I did not catch the splooge stains until my last night. i do know its the same comforter because when i checked in my into the room the following morning i was moving my luggage around and the wheel caught the edge of it and left a black mark on it . that was still there when i left. It's not that big of deal because you have a sheet underneath it. One other issue i had with this place but i think its thailand ingeneral are the little red ants. They would come out in mass armies but then go away for a few days. I left my laptop out one night and they got inside and made a house. i did not know until i was outside in the avenue surfing the web when the started crawlinf out of the keyboard and from inside the screen. i guess i was typing to loud.

Loved this place the first time i stayed in it, good monthly rate however dont think i would pay even the low season rate of 999 bhat per nite, the major problem as said is the noise. solution ear plugs and sleeping tabs lol

NO on the taste test. but i have left plenty of DNA sheets from over shooting my target and know the classic patterns it leaves

I actually find that hard to believe. maybe the rooms you have had are different and are a good sleeper. I 'll give you some issue the room next door to mine

the guy would come home every morning at 5am bang around in the closet and then fuck his girl at 5:15, 5:20. i know this because that's when she would start moaning and i would be lying there alone getting horny but all was not los because i would use that as my wake up call to go for a run. the time the i'm at my desk at the computer and the guy on the other side of my room sneezes and jokingly i say " god bless you" to myself he actually heard me and said thank you. I'm almost shit my self laughing. despite this i do actually like the hotel. i just need a quiet one with fast wifi on the beach side because i hate crossing 2nd road.
