Looking for 1 bed Condo to rent in Jomtiem

Got a mate relocating to Jomtiem in a few weeks time, he will be looking to rent a 1 bed condo, guess will be initially a 6 month period, then if it ticks all the boxes, long-term.

Renthub.in.th or Airbnb funnily enough  seen some deals on there for a little £150 a month !!

He really needs to start by narrowing down the areas he’d consider and the facilities he wants.

Areas:

1. near Hanuman and arch etc. Usually busy. Shops, bars, restaurants. Easy access to/from Pattaya.

2. first part of beach rd. similar to 1 but quieter the further down you go.

3. Further down beach rd. Quieter. More difficult to get baht bus.

4. inland of second rd. Really need own transport. Usually cheaper.

5. inland of second or off Chaiuphrek. Need own transport. Cheaper.

 

Then, how nice a pool does he want? Gym on premises? Size/age of condo. Internet/tv availability. How busy/quiet/well maintained is the building? Cost?

 

Of course, a lot of this is different now due to the current situation but it’s the sort of thing he needs to think about if it’s going to be long term.

In any case, he should book short term first and then look around for a longer option.

Get to have a look at The Cliff. In between Patts and Jomtien.  Sea view on high floor.

39 sqm. Nice furniture.
