Can you find cheap room/condo/studio with kitchen for 3-6 months to rent?

Hi guys!

I've searched the forum but can't really find anything that fits what I'm looking for. Maybe I just suck at using the search function, who knows...

Anyways, I'm looking for a cheap place to live for 3 months (maybe 6) as central as possible in Pattaya. My only must have is a stove so I can cook my own food.

Max price would be around 9.000bhat/month but anything cheaper would be great. I'm not planning to make this trip before 2022 so any input on pre-Covid prices would be appriciated as I'm counting on we will back to somewhat normal.

As I dont have to live in luxury and want to keep cost down I dont need anything fancy but again, I would love a stove so I can keep food cost down by cooking myself.

Anyone who can shed some light?

Did some more digging and found droves of information. I posted this a bit early.

Seems like you can find studio condos for as cheap as 4500bhat/month, especially if you dont mind not being in Central Pattaya. Jomtien had some really nice spots for cheap.

Never seen a proper built in stove in a condo in Thailand.  Electric cooktop with 2 burners is the usual.  They do have big toaster oven "ovens" that sit on a counter for around 3000 baht at Big C. 

FB "marketplace" has several companies or individuals that are constantly posting for rent condos in the Pattaya area.  You can narrow the search to get the area you want.  Prices are about half what you would pay for before Covid in many cases

Yes, I noticed this aswell. It might make the search for the right place easier if you can just get your own cooktop or if there's already one there. Thanks for your answer.

I e-mailed mypattayacondo about 3 months ago and they only did 1 year leases. Maybe they have changed their minds by now.

This looks really nice. Slightly above my price range but I might end up staying for 1 year even and if I do this is for sure an alternative. Sadly I doubt I will be able to stay for a whole year though but if the stars align I will for sure. Cheers.
