I've read the linked article.

So this Swiss man, who is reportedly asymptomatic and is/was about to leave Thailand anyway, now will have to do a fortnight in a Thai hospital before he can fly out, and his special covid insurance won't pay for the hospital because he says he's asymptomatic?
