I used these guys about 2008 or so. I thought they were very good and professional. Highly recommended.

The fiancé visa is very straightforward; all real work you need to do anyway ... filling out the forms and filing isn’t there difficult.

www.visajourney.com has very detailed so-it-yourself guides, data on current processing times based on location  and lots of available help on the forums, most of it recent and very country specific.  I’d give this a shot first as and agency/lawyer doesn’t really do much for a run-of-the mill visa application.

Hope you keep us updated on your decision and how it goes.

Unfortunately, I have heard nothing but horror stories when it comes to K-1 visas -- or virtually any visa -- for girls from Thailand to come to the USA.

Initial thoughts: Make sure you have lived together with the lady for at least 3 months.  Met her family, met her "brothers" and  male "cousins" .  Had at least one disagreement, etc...

Many of these ladies are consummate actors and playing the long game in my experience.

That said, I did not use a company in 1995, simple to go to INS website (now it is part of Homeland security) and fill out the form, get your financial records, etc... and then you wait.  Do not believe any company can get it done faster as the long wait is with the U.S. government offices once they receive your completed application.  The Thai lady only has to get a background check and medical exam, and that is not until your application is approved as I recall.

Good luck

I used the my Thai fiancé site, too back around the same time as WhiteThai.  It went really smooth and she got her visa rather quickly.  I heard all the horror stories about visa applications so I went with an agency. I thought the price was low enough that if it saved a round trip ticket and a week from work, it was worth it.  The later green card application and extensions I’ve handled myself here in the States.

I would recommend the service I used, except the farang that ran it at the time was convicted of a crime in Thailand that we don’t talk about on this forum and last I heard, he had skipped bail and is a fugitive.  I don’t know if he still benefits financially from that service.  I would find out before doing business with them.

thanks for all the info and options, Not sure what I'll do yet, probably see the price on the site then decide if I want help or not.

Lovinladiesisagoodthing Thanks for the advice, I have known her about 10 years, but haven't been bf/gf  until 2-3 years ago. I have had 2 long term relationships with TG so have an idea of what their like. I know for a fact that she is a school teacher, we had had a couple fights, I met her mother 1 time years ago. I'm sure she likes me for my $$ and not my looks, but that is the story of my life.

I wouldnt even think of doing this work myself.  I used https://ritavisa.com/en/home/

I can guarantee she was through, affordable and when it came time to bring my girlfriend to America, she met her at the hospital and took her in to get all the paperwork she would need to travel to the US.  But it doesnt end there.  You then have to decide to get married or have her go back home.  So another filing-Adjustment of status gets you a green card for 2 years.  Rita did all of this for me.  Then you have to file for a 10 year green card after that.  We also brought her son over on a K-2., which is more filings and fees.  Rita was there every step of the way, answering my questions, organizing all paperwork.  Fantastic job.  If your girlfriend is from Pattaya, they will also help you "clean" her facebook, which is important, when you file with the USCIS.  Good luck with your journey.

Ask a silly question and i'll leave a silly answer

Just a comment on this.  I felt my wife and son needed a bit of hand holding.  Where to go for medical tests, what to say in the interviews and what not to say.  She was not living in BKK at the time.  It was better for me in my situation since I was still in the states to use someone there.
