Seeking help finding Condo for 3-weeks in Nov/Dec

Hi mates... I am relatively new to the board, and have learned alot the past couple months. I am traveling to Pattaya in Nov, and already have a 2-week hotel stay booked at one of the nicer properties.

I am thinking about cancelling the hotel, and instead renting a condo for 3 weeks.

The thing is... I need a bathroom that is spic-and-span. Think about the kind of bathroom you would see in a Marriott or Hyatt hotel... can condos be found that are this nice? If so, what would the cost be?... and how do I find it?

I have read many a trip report that had pictures of apartments and rentals that BMs have stayed in... and generally, the random pics of the bathroom gross me out. I can't handle grime and scum anywhere near a bathtub...

Ok... go ahead and laugh at me... I can take it. Can anyone offer advice and some pricing for a Condo that would meet these "cleanliness" requirements?

Might be alot cheaper to just pay the maid to clean it very well for ya. Make her scrub every inch of the bathroom to your liking? Then you can stay anywhere you want. 500 baht and she would clean the toilet room just about all day. Surely it would be clean enought to eat off of by then.

Nova Platimum hotel has really clean looking bathrooms. Bright and clean.

Just a thought...

Any hotel that has daily cleaning service should keep the bathroom very clean. I found this to be the case at the Sandy Springs on Soi 13. If you rent on a weekly or monthly basis, then you will have to make a special arrangement for daily cleaning.

Nova Platinum bathroom are extremely small. Yes they are clean and modern but it will remind you of an toilet cubicle on a plane in size!

Nova Atrium is a condo block with very high quality bathrooms, a month in there is about 25,000 for a one bedroom 75sq m if they have availability I am sure they would do a deal for 3 weeks

Slick Monkey... thanks for the pics, man... kind of you. Minty was right, though... they do look a little small. I checked the website and typed in my dates for Nov/Dec and it doesn't seem there are any availabilities. Odd... that's over 6 months away.

I have hotel reservations already at the Marriott... but the more I thought about it.... I am burning 130,000+ reward points (sure the digs are top notch) to stay 2 weeks at Marriott properties... but it seems like I might be able to stay longer (3 weeks) in a condo for WELL UNDER $1,000.

Maybe I should save the reward points for another trip. Also, I am worried every bargirl I bring back to the Marriott will think I am Richie Rich, lol.
