I wish them well, it takes real balls to open a business in the current climate. Just thinking out loud, I find myself wondering why they didn't open it on 2nd rd, there must be 100's of shophouses available for a discount there?

Parking possibly for one thing and I'd guess Thai property owners  with a prime location are willing to sit it out before they reduce long term rents on their buildings.

You could be right, but with that location very few tourists whenever they come back, will venture that far away as most don't have wheels.

Anyways, not my business to criticize. Maybe I was just being selfish because I'll personally never go there at that location. I don't drive in Pattaya anymore. If they were on a baht bus route, I might go there often cause I like a good Italian deli.

Excuse the rambling, I indulged a little too early today, 555

Any word on whether they will be on the delivery services? The article is silent on it.

I could see ordering a nice, quality deli sandwich to be delivered (assuming reasonable delivery fees and costs), but I'm very doubtful to be out in that area.

I would go over to that area from time to time, if they had some American Deli items that would interest me. Corned Beef and Pastrami come to mind, as well as Sourdough Bread. I see that they have some decent Italian Deli items, such as Pancetta, but I already have sources for those over here in Jomtien.

Still I wish them well.

I hope they stick it out, I will certainly be there when I get back.
