Oddly enough, the deluge was not that bad where I am at over in Jomtien (near the Hanuman Statue). I was wondering a bit, if Phratamnak was more affected given that it runs basically downhill.

Looks like the new drains stopped the water from Going out to the sand and eroding the beach.

Lucky they had the drains....water would have been over the palm trees otherwise.

Aren’t there still areas on the beach that erode massively after every rain and are repaired each time?
