Cathay Pacific stopped trading shares

That is a shame if it goes under. I had many good flights on Cathay in years gone by..

funny how it can go either way.  I was brave enough to buy Qantas stock at close to the low point.   Happy times now.

Trading in Cathay Pacific halted on Hong Kong stock exchange as white knight rumours swirl. shares on the Hong Kong stock exchange was halted on Tuesday morning as expectations mounted that the battered airline could be in talks with a white knight to rescue it.

Bailed out by the HK gov, unlikely they would have ever let them fail.

Cathay Pacific to get $5.5bn bailout

Hong Kong airline Cathay Pacific is set to recieve a $HK30bn ($5.54n) bail out from its government, the first time the government has directly injected money into a private company, according to the South China Morning Post.
