Unlocking a 4G Router from AIS?

A couple years ago, I picked up a Wi-Fi to 4G router (ZTE MF910L) from AIS when I was in Pattaya. I am now attempting to use this outside of Thailand. I can connect it via USB to my PC and login to the built-in admin web page to view the settings. However, it is giving me the following message if I try to change any network settings with a non-Thai SIM card inserted.

"This device is network locked. Please contact your service provider to get unlock code." :Oops1:

Never done this before, so I'm guessing this means that the ZTE is locked to the AIS network? Does anyone know a way to get an unlock code outside of Thailand? Thanks.

I have unlocked a 4G router with their software in the past.
