Nice looking house, I find it strange that many spend a lot of money on building a house and don't fit guttering on the roof.

Then find its needed after it rains and floods the outside areas.

Nice house. Looks like plenty of space for a nice garden too.
Personally I would have gutters and divert all rainwater to an underground tank. With the overflow going to a fish pond but that's just me.
And I'd probably have around 30% of floor area devoted to a covered outside living area.

Good looking house, though they could have spent a few bucks on the banister inside & out. It looks like something from a hotel fire escape

House looks great, when finished how Much did the cost vary from what you were quoted when you started building? Did you just use people from the town or higher a big construction company?

He would have been the one doing the  quoting.  Alan is a builder, hence the name AlanTheBuilder.
