If you find a way to go tomorrow, then ok, but if the Police checkpoints do eventuate on Thursday then you'll find it hard to get in and out of Pattaya (presuming you are in the city, if on the darkside then no problem).

The best way is to hire a local bahtbus for the day. actually probably the only way at the moment.
