Looking at hotels close to Jomtien beach I found this 9.0 Review at Booking.com for Sunny Beach Residence.  As I am Scandinavian and 64 I realized I better hurry up and book somewhere else:

Well if rooms just off the beach from 787 baht is pricey I doubt I'd pay attention to the rest of the review.
I'm sure if you stayed long enough you would have a birthday and fit right in.

There are differences, we the Norwegians bring the Aquavit (there's the "Aquavit Hotel" in Jomtien), the Danes bring Danish Pastry? I choose to think though, at 65 and Norwegian I may not BY DEFAULT be boring, nursing-home kind of company.
