is there a bus going from pattya to Ban Chang?

There are some posts on this in the Bang Chang section. I was also interested in this and the general consensus is yes although the faffing about didn't make it particularly attractive option to me .

 I just go to Pattaya Tai and Sukhumvit take the Mini van asked to be dropped at Lotus Tesco in Bang Chang 60 baht they run every few mins

So how far are the bars from Tesco?...

And how do you get back to Pattaya?....

seriously the mini bus will take U back from the same spot.....BUT some pals were over mon/tues this week and the place was dead....many bars closed or being refurbed (Moonshine 4 one) and what bars there were open had very few ladies in them...sad days really for BC

The bars are very close to Lotus Tesco. And you pick up the van in front of lotus Tesco to go back. They run every few minutes 15 or 20, I would guess.
