I'm flying into BKK 1am on 2 February for 9 days, so expect to arrive Pattaya around 4am on a Sunday, which I thought is about the worst time to arrive -- until I realized the Super Bowl will start at 6:30am.

Suggestions please where to watch the Super Bowl.  Ideally BIG screen televisions,  plenty of female company looking for business, and lots of raucous fun!

And, as not traveling with my usual wingman, BitterBanger, I would particularly welcome making some new friends,

Not sure of any place with women on tap, but me and friends will be watching it at Retox Game On Soi Honey. They are open 24/7.

 

We all go to watch games and not looking for female company. Most females there come with men.

 

But if you fancy a little fun say at halftime there are a couple or more full service massage joints on Soi Honey that are open at that time.

 

A few of us live here and are there watching games that interest us. There are always guys on holiday that come watch as well. 

 

Plenty of screens, two big ones!

I Rovers sports bar on LK Metro alley is also an option, depends on where you are staying I guess. I went there for the first time in October and had a fun time. Tons of screens, the food is pretty decent, and it's open 24 hours.

Same as Retox, the ladies who are there came with someone. Although there were a couple of cute waitresses.

I get in on Jan 28 so may have time to change it up a bit, but always gone to I-rovers.  Does seem to be usual temporary issues with sound and no halftime show or the special commercials; really no big screens, but lots of screens; never pulled a girl from there.  So not sure why I go there - do like the breakfast and location I guess.   Guess if more options appear on here maybe will check them out.  It certainly a different SUper Bowl party than would see over in North America.

As for teams pretty sure San Fran will be there in NFC.  Think I would be happy with either of AFC teams although Tenn and pts maybe better bet -  should be good game.

I thought I'd add that Superbowl is Monday in Thailand. If you get in on early Sunday you've got time to check a few options.

I'm thinking I-Rovers as I think I'll enjoy LK metro much more than before.

^ This. Superbowl is played on Sunday, February 2 and shown at 06:30 Monday, February 3 in Pattaya. OP has over 24 hours to rest and find a suitable venue.

I assumed when he said 1 a.m. Sunday he meant late Sunday night, but actually Monday morning.

In any event, I'm  DEFINITELY fucked, as my flight leaves Hainan at 7:30 a.m. Bangkok time on Monday the 3rd.  On the plus side, I guess I can find out who won when I land at 10:35 a.m.  5555

My only other option was a late night flight on the 2nd that had a layover in Guangzhou, took over 7 hours (vs my 2 1/2 hour non-stop flight), and an economy on it cost twice as much as the business class seat on the flight that I am on.....uh yeah, I'll watch the Super Bowl NEXT year!  5555

Thanks, Arbiez and Rocketboy for pointing out that I had miscalculated somehow thinking Super Bowl was Sunday morning when it is Monday morning.  Now I'm back to the problem of what to do when I arrive Pattaya on 3 or 4am on Sunday, lol

I don't get the bit about female company. If your concern is to watch the game .... go with that. 

At 630 AM, it's too early for even walks of shame.

I watched a Champions League final at Tilac Bar in Soi Cowboy. That started at 3AM. Trust me, the girls don't wont care.

Agree, I don't want to miss out on another costume malfunction like what happened to Janet Jackson during the halftime show.

I got watching at Danny's right. Shit a lot has happened in 11 month's. Watching in my lounge room at home but go the PACKERS

All the Go Packers comments made me think this year.  Anyway I've been told by a friend that this years playoffs will be different.  Was told that instead of 2 wildcard teams that there will be 3 wildcard teams, so only the best team in each conference will get a bye in round 1.

It makes sense that only the teams that win the conferences get any advantage.

Three weeks ago I  made a bet with Buffalo playing either Tampa or Washington in the SB. As you can see, I  like long odds and none of those teams have lost since that bet was placed. Being  realistic, I'm bullish on Buffalo, especially when hosting some play off games in tundra. As much as I  hate Aaron Rogers, I think The Pack will get in.

I live not far from  this year's venue and if they have a Super Bowl Fest days leading up to the game, I'll end up going. I wonder how many spectators will actually be at the game. 

Back in 2010 I was in BKK for Superbowl Sunday. Saints vs Colts. I too wondered where to catch the game. Having lived in New Orleans for a few years I just had to see the Saints in their first Super Bowl. I ended up watching it at a place called the Bourbon Street Oyster House. At that time it was located in the old Washington Square. They have since moved after Washington Square was torn down. They're in the Ekkamai and called Bourbon Street Bangkok. They have a website. If they're doing the super bowl again this year I highly recommend going there. I had a really good time watching it there. They had a buffet breakfast, bloody mary's etc. 

There's also a place on Soi4/Nana called The Tavern. I have watched NFL games there before and I believe they do the Super Bowl.
